FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How to purchase the product?

The user can go to the associate website eg. http://www.certexams.com or product specific URL and purchase the product by clicking the "buy" button.

2. I need an activation key. Where can I get one?

First thing is you will need to purchase the software to request the key. And also there is an option to activate automatic once the product is purchased and installed. In case automatic activation is not possible, then you may have to send a mail to: cs@swregn.com  and you will receive the activation key to your mail-id within 48 hours.

3. After installation, when the software is run, i get an error saying some dll or ocx is not registered.?

If some dll or ocx is not registered and error is displayed then try un-installing and re-installing the software. If the same problem repeats, then contact support for further assistance.

4. What are the minimum system requirements to install the product?

Minimum Requirements:

     Supported platforms: Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7

Installation requirements:

     50 MB free space 1GHz CPU 256 MB RAM 800x600 screen resolution Active Internet connection

5.  What features are available in the demo version of software?

The demo version of the products is just for trial and it includes limited features only.

6. I receive an windows security alert when trying to activate my product or using the automatic update feature?
If you receive an alert when trying to activate your product automatically, you maybe behind a firewall/proxy server which is  preventing the process from completing successfully. Unblock the firewall and try to install the software.

7. Does the products support multiple users?

For any products, the only license option available is a single-user license

8. I am getting runtime error while trying to activate full version online. Screenshot with error message is show below. How to fix this error?


1.Download COMCTL32.OCX Right click on the download link and save file to desktop (You can use "Save link As" option to save it to desktop).

2.Copy the file to system folder that is WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory on your C: drive (for Windows NT and 2000: \WINNT\system32).

3.open the command prompt by going to start->run.(If you are using Vista or windows 7 run the command prompt as adminstrator by going to start->run(right click and run as administrator)

4.According to your Operating System, type the following command to register this library file:

Windows NT or 2000: regsvr32 \WINNT\system32\COMCTL32.OCX

Windows XP: regsvr32 \windows\system32\COMCTL32.OCX

Windows Vista: regsvr32 \windows\system32\COMCTL32.OCX

* Please note that there is a SPACE after "regsvr32" and before the rest of the command.

5.You should see a message saying "DllRegisterServer ... succeeded"

For windows 7:

Step 1: Re-register the component.

Verify if comctl32.ocx is in C:\windows\system32 folder. If you, you may try re-registering the file.

1. Go to start and type cmd.
2. Right-Click on cmd and select ?Run as Administrator?.
3. Type regsvr32 comctl32.ocx and press Enter.

If successful you should get a popup saying "DllregisterServer in comscl32.ocx succeeded"

Explanation of Regsvr32 usage and error messages

Step 2: Un-install and reinstall the software.

Re-installing helps in installing the missing component. Do this as a last resort.

PRODUCT DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Please note that the procedure applies for software downloaded from CertExams.com website.

To download a product, please go to respective product page and click on the link "Download Trial" as shown in the screen below to start downloading the product.
                 


A dialog box appears as below on clicking the link.

 

Click save to choose the location on the computer to actually save the file as shown below

 
   

On clicking "Save" the download process begins and the progress of the download is displayed as shown. Please wait till the download is complete

 

                 

Once the download is complete, you will be prompted to "Run" or "Open Folder".

                 
 

You can directly install the application by clicking on the "Run" button. Alternatively, you can open the download folder, locate the downloaded software and double click on it to start installation as shown below:
                 
 

Note: The download procedure shown in this example uses Internet Explorer. Please note that it may be slightly different for different browsers.

Running the Setup (exe) file

Double-clicking the setup file will popup a message box asking confirmation for installation shown below. Click "Yes" to continue with the installation.

 

               
 Next step shows the License agreement that the user must accept to continue, so click on the radio button to accept and click "Next"
           
 

Next step allows the user to choose the location to install the software. User can browse to desired location or install the software in default location provided.
               
 

Once the user selects the destination folder, the software will be installed in the specified location, so click the button "Install" to install the software.

   
   
   Final step of the installer allows the user to run the application directly.
         
 

  Click "Finish" to complete the installation of the software.
