I'm looking for a CCNA Network simulator for CCNA preparation. There are several of them like Bosn, CertExams, and Packet Tracer. Which is the best considering functionality and price for CCENT/CCNA preparation.

There are a few network simulators as was mentioned, and these include:
CertExams.com Network Simulator Designer (most recommended considering price/performance). Check out the labs here.

Boson Netsim,

Cisco Packet Tracer,

GNS, and

Gambit

Each of them have their own advantages and disadvantages. If you consider both cost and performance, CertExams.com simulators are very cost effective and have good functinality, where as Gambitt is very expensive *several hundreds of dollars* and have better functionality. However, noting that you need a router sim for CCENT/CCNA preparation, you can consider any of the first four options.

GNS3 is a free software, but you need router IOS for using it. Checkout the website for more information.

Cisco packet tracer is available only to Cisco Academy students. Otherwise, it's not available for retail purchase. Check with Cisco site for more details.

A netsim is essentials for CCNA preparation because there will be several questions that include router simulation in the cert exam, and one need to prepare for these questions using network simulator. Of course, if one had a router lab using real routers, then there is no need for a netsim, unless one need the lab manual for preparation.

A lab manual will have several labs worked out and make it easy for a new comer to get started with network configuration commands, and troubleshooting.

See:

A network simulator is basically a router/switch network simulator. Here one can configure and troubleshoot a network just like real router network.

An exam simulator is just that. One can practice questions and see whether they are prepared to take the exam. They both cover different domains.
