Broad CCNA exam objectives are given below:

The CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) exam is designed to test the knowledge and skills required to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks. The CCNA exam objectives cover a wide range of topics, including:

Network Fundamentals: Understanding the OSI model, network protocols, and network topologies.

LAN Switching Technologies: Understanding VLANs, VLAN tagging, and switch configuration.

Routing Technologies: Understanding routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, and EIGRP, and how to configure and troubleshoot them.

WAN Technologies: Understanding WAN technologies such as PPP, Frame Relay, and VPNs, and how to configure and troubleshoot them.

Infrastructure Services: Understanding DHCP, DNS, and IP addressing, and how to configure and troubleshoot them.

Infrastructure Security:
Understanding network security concepts such as access control lists, firewalls, and VPNs, and how to configure and troubleshoot them.

Infrastructure Management: Understanding network management concepts such as SNMP, Syslog, and NetFlow, and how to configure and troubleshoot them.

Cisco Devices: Understanding Cisco IOS commands and how to configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches.

The CCNA certification is the first step to a career in network administration and prepares the candidate for more advanced certifications such as CCNP and CCIE.
