Question:

I've recently installed the software and when a user account (with no admin priviledges) tries to run the program, windows 7 asks the user to enter in the Admin password.

Is there a way for me to disable this? After all whats the use if we have to enter in an admin password to run every program on a PC.

Method 1:

The prompt you are getting is because of the User Account Control setting done on your computer. You may change the setting and use them according to your requirements and run the programs in the standard account. Refer to the below provided links for details -

Disclaimer: User Account Control (UAC) can help you prevent unauthorized changes to your computer. It works by prompting you for permission when a task requires administrative rights, such as installing software or changing settings that affect other users. We don't recommend turning User Account Control off. If you do turn it off, you should turn it back on as soon as possible.

Method 2:

You may even use the below steps and check -
1. Right click the program file and click  properties.
2. Now click on the compatibility and select run the program as administrator .
3. Now click on change settings for all users and click ok. Now check if the issue resolves.

Hope this helps. Let us know the results.
